This page explains what happens on a technical level when you visit this site, based only on how the site is actually built. It does not ask you to agree to anything, and it does not require any personal detail from you to read the content here.
What does this site record when you visit?
A small set of visit data is generated only when you arrive from a search engine. This is handled by a first-party visit beacon that sends information to an edge analytics endpoint on the same domain.
- The page path you land on.
- The type of event, such as a page view or a click on an outbound button.
- The name of the referring search engine.
- The text of the outbound button you clicked, if you clicked one.
- The country the content delivery network reports for the request, with no more precise location.
This data is used only to count page views and outbound clicks. It is stored in the operator's own logs on this domain and is not passed to an outside analytics service.
What does the cookie and session flag do?
One first-party cookie is set, but only when you arrive from a search engine. It holds nothing but the name of that search engine, lasts up to one hour, and is used to link a later outbound click back to the search engine you came from.
- Session view flag: kept only for the current browser session, so a single page view is counted once instead of multiple times.
- Search-engine cookie: expires automatically within one hour and carries no identifier beyond the search engine name.
Outside of this one cookie and this one session flag, no other browser storage is set and no persistent identifier is created.
How are pages and outbound links handled?
The pages themselves are self-contained: everything a page needs to display loads from this domain, with locally embedded fonts, so nothing is fetched from an outside host while you are reading. The site is served as static files through a content delivery network, which handles the technical delivery of every request.
- Outbound links to third-party sites first pass through a first-party outbound redirect on this domain.
- From there, the link sends you to the partner site, which then receives your request directly from your browser.
- A partner site keeps its own separate record of that visit, under its own practices, which this page cannot describe.
Because of this redirect step, a click can be counted here before you leave, but what happens after you land on the partner site is outside what this page verifies.
What isn't part of this site?
There are no forms anywhere on this site, so there is no channel here for submitting a name, an email address, or any other personal detail. There is no third-party analytics tool built into these pages, no subresource loaded from an outside domain, and no contact channel of any kind offered on this site. If you want to reach a business behind an outbound link, that exchange happens entirely on the partner's own site, under whatever practices that site applies, separate from the static page you started on here.
